Don't Leave Your Cargo to Chance.

Cargo doesn’t always arrive the way it left. Rough seas, handling mishaps, and unforeseen delays can all take a toll on your shipment. ISL’s cargo insurance gives you the protection you need, covering damage in transit so that whatever happens on the journey, you’re not left bearing the cost.

What Does ISL's Cargo Insurance Cover?

ISL’s cargo insurance covers the vast majority of goods in transit. The following items are excluded from coverage: explosives, fireworks, highly flammable materials, and cargo originating from war zones.

How Much Can I Insure My Cargo For?

ISL can insure your cargo for any value. For shipments valued above US$1,000,000, additional approval is required.

How Are Premiums Calculated?

Your premium is calculated based on the total cost of your cargo plus freight, plus 12%, multiplied by 1%. This gives you a straightforward, transparent figure with no hidden charges.

When Should I Arrange Insurance?

Insurance should be arranged at the time of booking, once your shipment details and cargo value are confirmed.

How Do I Make a Claim?

In the event of damage or loss, our team will guide you through the claims process step by step. Claims typically take between three and six months to process.
